Xiao-yi was raised by her wretched father after her mother left. Her father committed suicide and gambling debts. Ji grew up without parents and lived a lonely and desperate life until he finds happiness in the love of Xiao-yi. However, Xiao-yi was accused of killing her boss and soon sent to prison. Seeing the woman he loved arrested and charged with murder, Ji was unable to change anything.
In the prison, Xiao-yi gradually established friendship with Qin in order to fight against the vicious power of Scar and Da-li, the brutal ”Big Sisters”.
