The Cleaner tells the story of a crime scene cleaner. The process of cleaning crime scenes not only helps soothe the minds and souls of the living, but also comforts the protagonist’s pain hidden deep in his heart. Yan-ting is a professional cleaner for murder scenes. His job is not limited to cleaning up for the deceased or their family – he also helps sweep away the discomfort and anguish of their loved ones. Everyone may have something that he/she can’t get over with, someone he/she can never forgive or something he/she can’t forget. However, when a life comes to its end, what else can we take away?
