2049+ Voice of Rebirth

Wei is a young “zhengtou” (leader of the temple parade). When his grandfather desperately needs money for medical attention, Wei decides to apply for historical landmark qualifications for the Fu Yan Temple left by his grandfather in order to extort property developers. To enhance the value of the temple, he even uses Guan Jiang Shou (police captain of the underworld) performances and works with his neighbor Rainy to participate in a global singing and dancing competition. To obtain a huge settlement from the property developer, however, Wei chooses to betray Rainy. Before he loses Rainy forever, Wei must learn the true meaning of faith and stand up to protect the disadvantaged residents of the Fu Yan community.
