Aqua Challenge

Second only to base jumping, free diving is one of the most dangerous sports in the world. Every dive is a personal risk, a mental and physical challenge. Underwater photographers combine their diving expertise with the additional challenge of photography in an unforgiving environment. Light is limited, the water conditions can change on a dime and be life threatening, and the subject matter (model or sea life), may not always be cooperative. Aqua Challenge is the first ever reality show that puts these two groups together, pitting them against one another, for the final prize and, of course, bragging rights. Completely filmed in the tropical waters around Taiwan, every episode of this competition uses different themes and competitors will be matched with different underwater partners. With elimination determined by judges and online votes, only one photographer and one free diver will survive the test and prove that they are the best of the best.
