The Yani Tseng Story

After winning the four majors, 15 LPGA Titles and spending 109 weeks ranking number one in the world, Yani TSENG has failed to win a title since 2013 and slides to number 650 in ranking. The “Smiling Queen of Golf” lost her trademarked smile, as well as her drive and passion in her swings.

Taking a full year off from competing, she sets out on a journey of self-discovery. TSENG relocates to where it all began. She takes on a new mental training regimen and begins a process to confront her past through dialogues with her mental coaches, trainers, her father and, most importantly, with herself. “I have to be ok with not getting back to being number one,” she realizes. With years of trials and tribulations, and this new understanding, she embarks on a comeback trail in 2021.
