20 Years Promise

September 21, 1999, an unprecedented earthquake with a magnitude of 7.3 struck Nantou County, Taiwan. Houses fell and buildings collapsed, and so did the lives of thousands of people as well as their families. The incident shocked the world. 83 countries expressed their condolences to Taiwan, and 20 countries sent emergency search-and-rescue teams. Among these teams was Ji-Ma from Russia who rescued an 8-year-old girl called Yi-ching, whose parents were both killed during the quake. 10 years later, Ji-ma invited the now 18-year-old girl to Russia. The seeds of love buried within Yi-ching’s heart begin to bud. She makes Ji-ma a promise to return after another 10 years. But then, they lose all contact. When Yi-qing finally does return to Moscow, things have changed, and Yi-ching finds herself in the midst of a love triangle.
