Song, who has been away from home for more than a decade, hails from a small town nestled amidst mountains and the sea. The nearest supermarket is an hour’s drive away. Having survived on take-out food for years, Song decides to adopt a self-sufficient and peaceful life in the countryside. As the rural population is aging, the elderly farmers frequently seek Song’s assistance with farming. In the process of tending to the crops, cooking, and reviving her mother’s deserted vegetable garden, Song is inundated with memories of her deceased mother. The idyllic life in the countryside helps Song discover her true self.
Song realizes that there’s nothing more fulfilling than touching the earth with her own hands, engaging in heartfelt conversations with the neighbors, and relishing the homegrown food from her garden. Though Song hasn’t yet decided where she wants to settle permanently, she has regained the strength to confront life’s challenges.
