Born Into Loving Hands

“Others work for living. We, as a midwife, work for a new life.”
Ming-zhu was 11 when she witnessed her mother’s death due to dystocia. Meanwhile, she occasionally helped a well-known midwife, Ms. LIU Shu-jhuang, in town to deliver a child. After that, Ming-zhu wanted to not only be a successful midwife as Shu-jhuang but also prevent pregnant women from dying in childbirth which her mother experienced. However, life was hard and there were difficulties she needed to overcome.
