Encounters is a VR multi-user installation which is performed barefoot while walking on a thin film of water. The spectators interact with digital entities in 4 virtual worlds that are replicas of our real worlds. An unexpected encounter occurs at the end of the experience, forming a reflexive mirror of the beginning of the work. This project is also the winner of the Taiwan XR residency 2022.

Mathieu PRADAT
Mathieu PRADAT is an author and director, trained as an architect. He inscribes his practice in growing interaction between virtual and real worlds, seen as new territories carrying stories and emotions. He explores linear and interactive narrative forms. His projects have been selected and awarded in numerous festivals in France and around the world. He is a Villa Albertine 2022 and a Fulbright 2023 laureate.
