Han was raised in a night market as the successor to a small, old milkfish stand. Li has been his best friend since childhood and an irreplicable help at the stand. Upon graduating from high school, Han took over the family business, despite having always dreamed of opening his own restaurant. One day, Han meets Chen-sen, a cookery teacher with a degree from a Swiss catering school. As they steadily learn more and more about each other and their cuisine, a romance develops, and the two eventually decide to transform Han’s family food stand into a Western-meets-Taiwanese style restaurant. When the restaurant opens, Han’s brother, Zhen, supports them, and Li seems to have a little something with the new, handsome waiter…
