KULO

Kulo is a guest house owner who lost his right hand and claims to be a dog. Many years ago, an unexpected walking tour around the island led him to not only open a guest house but host the Wild Market, the liveliest and craziest market in Taiwan.

More than ten years have passed since Kulo started running the guest house, Ocean Home. The young people who had joined Kulo in the walking tours and the volunteers whose skin is tanned by the blazing sun but still laugh happily when working on the muddy ground in the rain – they are all accepted and allowed to take a break in this place. By working or walking with Kulo, they form spiritual friendships with him.
