PINKY SWEAR

It is a story about how pinky swears transform us from more than friends into official lovers.

A pinky swear might come across as childlike, but it can symbolize an unbreakable vow when taken seriously. At the ages of seven and 17, LUO Yang-yang made commitments to CHEN An-yu and upheld them without fail. These promises offered solace to An-yu, who struggled with low self-esteem and a fractured family. Just as their relationship is on the cusp of evolving from friendship to romance, a sudden tragedy befalls An-yu’s family. In response, An-yu decides to relocate far away.

Reuniting at 27, they’re faced with either surrendering to circumstances or pursuing their initial heart’s desire. As former lovers, they each find ways to uphold every “pinky swear” made in the past, redefining their touching devotion to love.
