In 2005, the documentary [Let It Be] was released in theaters, achieving the fourth highest box office nationwide that year. This remarkable success greatly encouraged the two directors, leading them to establish the Let It Be Film Studio in 2012 with the aim of contributing to the development of documentary filmmaking in Taiwan.

2005年紀錄片《無米樂》院線發行，獲得當年度全國電影票房第四名，這張漂亮的成績單振奮了兩位導演，於2012年成立了無米樂影像工作室，想為台灣的紀錄片盡一份心力。
