We Are Champions was established in 2018 by producer Rachel CHEN and director CHANG Jung-chi, both of whom were on the core production team of Touch of the Light, which represented Taiwan in the Best Foreign Language Film category at the Oscars. Seven years later, they teamed up again to produce the HBL basketball movie We Are Champions. After its release in 2019, it won Best New Performer at the Golden Horse Awards and Best Director at the Taipei Film Awards, as well as other domestic and international awards, and received rave reviews.

由《逆光飛翔》監製陳寶旭、電影導演張榮吉共同成立。兩人繼《逆光飛翔》後，歷時七年再度聯手製作HBL籃球電影《下半場》，2019年上映後獲金馬獎最佳新演員獎及台北電影獎最佳導演獎等國內外獎項肯定，好評如潮。
