Zun Peng was founded by Chen Ya-lan, Taiwan’s first actress to win the Golden Bell Award for Best Actor in Drama. Chen Ya-lan has performed in over 100 Taiwanese opera dramas. She has dedicated her life to innovating and preserving the cultural heritage of Taiwanese opera.
