Jun-xiong is a war veteran suffering from Alzheimer. His wife, Feng, with mixed feeling for the memory loss, wishes he might forget the lover in his army. Their daughter, Meng, finally comes back home after six year in jail. However, his father cannot recognize her, while his son, Quan, raised by Feng when he was born, cannot recognize her either. Quan only think Meng is a stranger to him.
When Cheng-an who served in the army with Jun-xiong visits the family, it makes Feng suspicious if Jun-xiong really forgets about the past romance. Feng doesn’t want this past secret discovered by his daughter and grandson, but she also cannot relieve the pain from this forbidden secret.
