Tears On Fire

Tears on Fire is a rare production on the firefighting profession in Taiwan that focuses on the lives of four firefighters. From their daily firefighting work to rescue and emergency services, they not only witness the spectrum of Taiwanese society, but are also forced to face their own life lessons. Chiang Chi-yuan (Austin LIN) is diagnosed with PTSD after a failed rescue mission. Hsu Chi-ling (Annie CHEN) is the only female firefighter in the squad, and constantly encounters gender issues in the workplace. LIN Yi-yang (LIU Kuan-ting) is filled with a sense of justice and a kind heart, but also a fiery temper. CHIU Han-cheng (James WEN) is a loving husband who often has difficulty balancing work and family life.
