Sounds of Taiwan: A Symphony by Bao Yuankai

In 1994, the musician Mr. BAO Yuankai from Beijing was invited to a composer conference, leading to his 10-year journey of composing for Taiwan. Due to his love of Taiwan’s freedom and humanity, Mr. BAO spent many years producing the orchestral work Sketches of Taiwan, considered one of Taiwan’s most representative orchestral works.

The film follows Mr. BAO, from visiting different places for inspiration to the rehearsal before the official tour. It depicts the core of his artistic creation and his unique perspective on the beauty of Taiwan.
