Born Into Loving Hands

“Others work for a living. We, as midwives, work for new lives.” Ming-zhu was 11 when she witnessed her mother’s death due to dystocia. When she sees the well-known midwife, Ms. Liu Shu-jhuang, delivering a child, she decides that this is what she would like to be. Not only does she want to be successful, she also wants to prevent pregnant women from dying in labor like her mother did. But life is hard and there are difficulties she needs to overcome.
