The Child of Light

Yu-lan came to Taipei from southern Taiwan and has a successful career as a dancer. But when her foster mother gets dementia, she has no choice but to retire and go back home. The trials and tribulations of her new life start to bring back her childhood memories. During an argument with her mother’s foreign caretaker, the cause of her foster brother’s death and the secrets about her biological mother are gradually revealed… As a woman of advanced maternal age, Yu-lan finds herself unexpectedly pregnant with a baby, and decides to follow her heart and her destiny.
