Anchor TANG Shih-yen and fashion company general manager LIN Ko-ching are about to get a divorce. Shih-yen is vexed with Ko-ching in putting her career before family and having had an abortion without his knowledge. To voice his discontent, Shih-yen leaves Ko-ching to stay at his mistress’, and shows up at Ko-ching’s company asking her for money. Ko-ching frets over her troubled marriage, but still manages to focus on work and delivers a successful fashion show. Cheng-tung, the TANG family’s gardener, frowns upon the way Shih-yen treats Ko-ching, while his affection for Ko-ching grows. Kuei-chih, the florist’s daughter, hangs out with Cheng-tung frequently. Despite her happy-go-lucky and straightforward attitude, Kuei-chih secretly cares deeply about what Cheng-tung thinks of her. After Kuei-chih and Cheng-tung becomes involved in Shih-yen and Ko-ching’s marriage commotion, the four begin to reflect on the true meaning of mutual respect in married life.
