A FIGHT FOR JUSTICE

When justice is sought based on prejudice, the screams of those innocent become silent. When everyone says you are guilty, does it mean you are really guilty?

Idealistic and passionate rooky lawyer Yen Ching takes on the case of death row prisoner Ming-te, who has been sentenced to death five times. Yen Ching does not have any high hopes at first, but after learning more about the case, she begins to believe that Ming-te is innocent. Believing that law is justice, she submits extensive evidence to prove Ming-te’s innocence, only to be disregarded by the judges. Yen Ching realizes that she is not fighting against the system, but the human nature of prejudice. How can Yeng Ching topple the society’s “presumption of guilt” principle and save Ming-te from his imminent execution?
