A Glimpse of the Mind Landscapes is a three-piece VR series, which is to explore the philosophy of mind through VR technology. “Alternation” is an experiment about how visual effects are associated with body perception — by watching your flesh being pecked by the fishes and growing back. “Transformation” transports your mind to another virtual human, and puts on new limbs to be a brand-new self. “Out of Body” is a trip to free your mind, in which you will fly through a sequence of life forms from microcosm to macrocosm.
CHENG Yi-Ting, LI Yi-Ho
CHENG Yi-Ting specializes in new media installations, digital art and videos. Her creation explores the connection between human consciousness and imagination, time and space, spirit and body. Her artwork 2020 — The Great Plague was exhibited in Poland, Germany, and Taiwan.
LI Yi-Ho, a prospective graduate from Department of Communications Design in Shih Chien University, is an artist specializing in video editing and installation design. Her artwork Mar 12 May was selected for the Poznan Art Week for an online exhibition.
