A TIME TO MEND

A Time to Mend uses baseball to connect the shared memories of two rebellious teenagers. Through the sharply contrasting paths their lives take, the film explores family trauma, a fractured friendship, and their reunion in adulthood. Rooted in Taiwan’s baseball culture while carrying universal emotional resonance, the story looks beyond youthful nostalgia to ask whether people can return to where they began, repair what was broken, and rediscover the parts of themselves they once lost.

Jun-Le and Zhuang-Ren were once rebellious students who skipped class to watch baseball. After family upheavals, they took different paths in life, but the harshness of society brought them back to their origins, leading to a chance to reconcile and rebuild their bond.
