YouTubers Yong Cheng and Gao Wei anger Japanese street gangs with a daring video shoot. Their classmate Ozaki saves them with mystical Kappa meat, granting heightened senses and erasing their need for sleep and food. Their careers soar. The Ozaki clan provides Kappa meat, granting temporary enhancements but leading to addiction and negative effects. Eating raw Kappa meat causes mutation. Gao Wei joins Ozaki’s quest for Kappa candidates, involving friends, even Yong Cheng. Yan Ting, Yong Cheng’s ex-wife, seeks his reversal, falling into Ozaki’s trap. The plan backfires, turning her and their daughter into Kappas. Yong Cheng saves them, then drifts away, memories intact.
