Second only to base jumping, free diving is one of the most dangerous sports in the world. Every dive comes with personal risk and is a mental and physical challenge. Underwater photographers combine their diving expertise with the additional challenge of photography in an unforgiving environment. Light is limited, the water conditions can change on a dime and the subject matter may not always be cooperative. AquaChallenge is the first ever reality show which puts these two groups together, pitting them against one another for the final prize. Filmed in the tropical waters around Taiwan, every episode uses different themes, and competitors will be matched with different partners. With elimination based on judges and online votes, only one photographer and one free diver prove that they are the best.
