The fight against environmental injustice in Taiwan reached a turning point when plans for a massive DuPont chemical plant threatened the wetlands of Changhua. What followed was a 13-month grassroots campaign that united farmers, academics, journalists, and youth in a historic act of resistance. With NT$6.4 billion at stake, this was no small confrontation—but the people prevailed. Through interviews with key figures in Taiwan’s environmental and social justice movements, the film revisits the Anti-DuPont Movement and its legacy, offering a rare insight into the courage, costs, and impact of activism that continues to inspire generations.
