BODACIOUS!: THREE REALMS

In midsummer Taipei, three seemingly accidental arson-murder cases occur. At each crime scene, evidence and autopsy reports reveal a bizarre gold-embossed inscription on the victims′ chests: “The Tathagata has departed, and the three realms are like a burning house.” The police suspect a serial arsonist, and the public on PPT forums dub it the ‘Three Realms Arson-Murder Series’.
Jay Tong, a child prodigy with an IQ of 145 on the WPPSI at age six and a former youngest Asian member of Mensa, scored an IQ of 175 on the WISC at ten. Yet, he prefers to live as an ordinary elementary student.
During community chess games, he befriends retired detective Dexter Ko, who left the force years ago after losing his son. They become an unlikely detective duo. With help from Dexter′s former police academy student, Agatha Yang, they learn the details of the ‘Three Realms Arson-Murder Series’ and aim to uncover the true culprit.
Despite being seen as a simple child by parents and teachers, Jay Tong secretly plans to track down a bloodthirsty mastermind….
