Boys Like Boys is Taiwan’s very first BL reality dating show, the core idea of which is “Orientation doesn’t matter; real love always wins.” Eight men, each charming in his own way, were invited to leave the city and head into the mountains, where they would spend six days in each other’s company and face all sorts of incentives and decisions. Destined matches would be made only for those who have the truest emotions. Unlike a regular dating show, Boys Like Boys features no host. Instead, there is a series of plot devices that keep the relationships and emotions progressing. Starting out with six participants, two more would be added along the way, and some of them would eventually be eliminated. The eight men would have to seize every chance they get and confess their love at the right moment if they are to find their Mr. Right. Who will leave hand in hand with someone else? And who will have to go home alone?
