BURNING MAN

Two young parkour runners are drawn into urban crime and deadly arson, forcing them to choose between belonging and conscience.

After causing trouble at a youth placement home, Xiaoku runs away and meets Shark and his crew from the Fire Jumping Club. Together, they roam the city, doing graffiti and parkour, while secretly helping an urban redevelopment group drive out holdout residents. When an accidental arson kills innocent people, Shark’s buried trauma is exposed. Desperate to keep Xiaoku by his side, he becomes increasingly ruthless. Xiaoku, who once saw Shark as family, begins to question everything and tries to break away. But Shark refuses to let him leave, using their shared crime as a chain between them. Xiaoku must choose between conscience and belonging: to remain inside Shark’s love, or to bravely become his own person.
