CHILDHOOD REVISITED

Once upon a time, there was a long river that carried memories, and a wonderful village we called the Fifth Ditch of Water. A group of Hakka people lived under the guardianship and blessing of the emerald green Mount Grand Martial. The warm smiles of the villagers were reflected in the river’s water, clear as a mirror, where seaweed and fish swam freely. The softly streaming river in the Hakka village was the entire world for the children.
