Once upon a time, there was a long river that carried memories. A wonderful Hakka village we called the Fifth Ditch of Water. A group of Hakka people live under the protection and blessing of the emerald green Mount Grand Martial. The warm smiles of villagers are reflected in the water of the river, clear as a mirror, where seaweed and fish swim freely. For the children, this river is their whole world. Put down the paper boat, let the sound of children’s laughter intertwine with the gentle sound of flowing water, and store your memories in the river. Pearls of exuberant bubbles are born from the cool, crystal clear water flowing abundantly from the springs of Mount Grand Martial, nurturing indigenous fish and fresh green water plants of all kinds. Hakka sons and daughters have lived and worked on this land for generations, guarding it with a deep respect.
