Taiwan’s “Purple Butterfly Valley” is a world-class natural asset. Maolin is one of the only two wintering butterfly valleys in the world. From about October to March of the next year, purple butterflies migrate to the foothills of Dawu Mountain. They hide in the valley during the cold winter, and do not return to the north until spring. This video aims to introduce the precious purple monarch butterfly and raise environmental protection awareness.
