Nele WOHLATZ studied scenography at the University of Applied Arts Karlsruhe and film at the University Torcuato Di Tella, Argentina, where she has been living since 2009. Her debut feature The Future Perfect (2016) won Best First Feature Golden Leopard Award and was invited to more than 70 film festivals. In 2020, she was a resident at Villa Aurora in L.A. and a teacher at the University of Fine Arts of Hamburg.
妮莉沃拉茲旅居於德國和阿根廷兩地。於阿根廷喀斯魯藝術設計大學主修場景美學，畢業後在阿根廷首都藝術研究中心進行多項電影研究，並教授紀錄片導演學科。首部劇情長片《人生未來完成式》（2016）獲羅迦諾影展最佳劇情片獎，並在多個國際影展上獲獎及提名。

Argentina-based German director Nele WOHLATZ met Brazilian producers Emilie LESCALUX and Kleber Mendonça FILHO (Bacurau, Cannes Film Festival 2019). They started development of this project in 2017 in Recife, Brazil, then gathered award-winning co-producers from all around the world to make this Chinese-language film in South America. They include Argentina’s Rosa Martínez RIVERO and Violeta BAVA (Ruda Cine); Germany’s Meike MARTENS (Blinker Filmproduktion GmbH); and Taiwan’s Justine O. and Roger HUANG (Yi Tiao Long Hu Bao International Entertainment).
妮莉沃拉茲是居於阿根廷的德國導演，2017年與巴西製片艾蜜莉萊斯拉和《殺戮荒村》製片及導演（2019）克雷伯曼東沙費侯開發這部華語片，並邀請多位國際獲獎製片合作，包括：羅莎馬田妮絲里維和維奧莉塔巴華（阿根廷Ruda Cine公司）、麥克耶馬滕斯（德國Blinker Filmproduktion GmbH公司），以及王思靜、黃江豐（台灣一條龍虎豹國際娛樂製作公司）。
