Humans and vampires have signed a peace treaty and Taiwan is leading the charge in opening up to vampire tourism. The night markets are buzzing with sales of pig’s blood cakes, duck blood hot pot, and all sorts of bloody snacks. Anti-UV sunglasses and sunscreen are flying off the shelves. This unexpected twist lands him on the news, and their quirky vampire romance goes viral on livestreams, smashing view records. Everyone envies Ah-hsiang; everyone is obsessed with vampires. However, Ah-hsiang starts noticing something strange: the city is changing. Children are going missing, adults’ pockets are jingling with gold coins, everyone is dressed in gothic attire, and their daily routines have shifted to nocturnal hours… When Ah-hsiang shares his unease with friends, they laugh, flashing their sharp fangs, and reassure him, “Don’t worry, Ah-hsiang. By the way, when are you and Angela getting married?”
