Drag is magic (literally) in Fanteasia, a musical comedy limited series exploring a fantastical world where enchanted queens and kings glam up the daily Taiwanese grind. In a magically realistic rendering of modern day Taiwan, an ensemble cast of rotating drag protagonists foster camaraderie while living side by side with mundane mortals, striving for authentic self-expression amid the complexities of coexistence. Imagine the cast of RuPaul’s Drag Race in a whimsical Kung Fu Hustle world, steeped in saturated Barbie aesthetics with the jukebox musical stylings of Glee…and you’ve got Fanteasia.
