From a glamorous pork vendor who resists the conventions of her traditional market to a rhinestoned tea field worker who chases forbidden love while picking high mountain oolong; from a larger-than-life gas tank delivery woman who empowers outcast customers to a dazzling pole dancer who shatters stereotypes while pursuing their dream of performing at funerals… Fanteasia is a scripted anthology series that follows an ensemble cast of fabulous drag protagonists in distinctively Taiwanese professions, challenging norms and fighting for equality within a musical storybook of celebratory, slice-of-life narratives.
