Dealing with various deceased bodies and their grieving families, a group of uniquely talented yet traumatized mortuary cosmetologists must rebuild their lives through restoration and solace.

Newly employed mortuary cosmetologist REN Hai-wei has been self-reliant since being abandoned by her parents at a young age. She rarely clashes with others but constantly conflicts with her colleague due to differing philosophies. Hai-wei strives to ease the regrets of living while her colleague pursues perfect restoration to alleviate guilt. Despite their differing beliefs, they experience numerous life-and-death separations together, gradually letting go of biases and becoming willing to confront the shortcomings in their own lives.
