Zhong-ming and Jayson are friends in high school. Their favorite pastime after school is wandering around and exploring the gorgeous Kenting country. While Jayson has a crush on Zhong-ming, who is older than him, he never manages to advance the relationship, and Zhong-ming leaves for Taipei upon graduating high school.
One fateful day 10 years later, he re-encounters Zhong-ming. Jayson, realizing that he has been given a second chance, decides to seize it and invites Zhong-ming to revisit the places they went to as students.
Zhong-ming soon realizes his attachment to the land and decides to continue the family business at the inn. Jayson offers his help, and feelings between the two men grow. Zhong-ming’s mother, it turns out, has known all along. She invites Jayson and his grandparents to dinner on the night of the mid-autumn festival, as if he were her own son.
