Han was raised in a night market as the successor to a small but old milkfish stand, and Li has been his best friend since childhood as well as an indispensable helper at the stand. Upon graduating from high school, Han took over the family business, despite having always dreamed of opening his own restaurant.
One day, Han meets Chen-sen, a cookery teacher with a degree from a Swiss catering school, through his brother Zhen. As they steadily learn more and more about each other and their cuisine, they begin to develop romance and eventually decide to transform Han’s family food stand together into a West-meets-Taiwan style restaurant. When the restaurant opens, Zhen brings a bunch of his friends to support them, and Li seems to be having a little something with the handsome new waiter…
