Hsia’s house is not only derelict but unhygienic. What if something terrible were to happen to her baby grandson? Mei-chen rushes to Hsia’s, but she accidentally travels back in time with Doumio to Hsia’s childhood. Meanwhile, the spirit imprisoned by Hsia’s spell secretly escapes and emerges from the sea during the storm, seeking revenge. The wind blows, and the waves churn. Hsia’s magic power has waned with her old age. For the sake of her beloved family, Mei-chen musters the courage to reason with the aggrieved ghost while little Doumio comforts and tenderly strokes the ghost’s old wound.
