In the aftermath of a revolution comes an epidemic. Our nameless protagonist sexes his way through insomnia and life, as he tries to recover from his trauma. He misses the man who promised to bring him to New York. Then he encounters others who would bring him to London, to Taipei, or to any place in this world. Yet they are just trapped in the city of hopelessness at the moment. He thought dark times would pass, but right now the worst is yet to come. So they make love, so as to forget the lost cause, the lost lovers, and all the lost battles.

He is a thief. He steals identity from others. He pretends to be a teacher, a bar server, a delivery man, an architect, a flight attendant. He is indeed an actor, who was in love with another actor.
