CHIEN Ching-fen realizes the reason her life has become a dull routine is because she can’t find another goal. The goals she set for herself—a house, a car, a son and a good husband—have been achieved after going through endless suffering. What will her next goal be? Thinking of that, CHIEN Ching-fen laughs because she realizes that in order to experience a bit of fleeting happiness when we achieve our goals, we go through suffering again and again.
