IN THE MORNING OF LA PETITE MORTE

A socially isolated food deliverer falls in love with a prostitute, whose sudden vanish leads him to reject a Filipino cleaner who gets sexually harassed by a guard, pushing her into the abyss.

Matsui, a food deliverer who looks like a vagabond, is infatuated with a tender loving prostitute. At the bottom of society, he tries to seek warmth, but she suddenly vanishes into thin air. Disheartened, he rejects Helen, a middle-aged Filipino cleaner who often gets sexually harassed by the porter in the community, unknowingly pushing her into an abyss.
