LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL

Life is Beautiful is a drama celebrating the 60th anniversary of Taiwan Television Enterprise (TTV). It is adapted from the reportage work Life in Kaohsiung: Cijin Islanders by LIN Pei-ying and LI Yi-zhi.

《美麗人生》為慶祝台視60週年所推出大作，改編自林佩穎與李怡志合著的報導文學《港都人生：旗津島民》。

In 1975, Qijin became an isolated island due to the development of Kaohsiung’s second port. Qijin’s industry went from prosperity to decline, and the island’s residents moved to other places. In 1984 the Kaohsiung Port Crossing Tunnel was completed, which contributed to the development of Qijin and prompted the island’s residents to return.

2022年台視八點檔連續劇，為台視60週年台慶大戲，改編自林佩穎、李怡志的報導文學作品《港都人生：旗津島民》，以1960年代高雄市旗津島為起點，展開兩代人糾纏的恩怨情仇與奮鬥故事。
