LONELY TOGETHER

Xiao Ji is spoiled in the well-off upbringing and the convenient buzzling world, unsure of what to do with her life, and abandoned by her workaholic husband. She decides to board a southbound train in a trip first time alone. She encounters a man on the run. Despite the different backgrounds, together they embark a journey of self-discovery.

Xiao Ji is a well-off married woman who gives up her aspiration to study environmental conservation to support her successful husband and to please her dotting parents. Looking forward to an overdue romantic holiday, she is once again delayed by her workaholic husband on the eve of a scheduled train journey. Never travelled alone and afraid of dark, she decides to embark on a solo trip to Kenting, to participate in her planned tours in national parks. On the night train, she finds herself seated across from a free-spirited and down-to-earth stranger- and begins as an ordinary train ride soon turns into a self-discovery journey.
