Li-mei is a successful woman in many ways. One day, Li-mei’s father tells her he’s remarrying an unappealing woman, Hsiu-lan. Even more shocking is that Hsui-lan is accused of being a murderer who lives a luxurious life by killing her wealthy husband. To save her father, Li-mei begins to investigate Hsiu-lan. Yet, Li-mei slowly becomes influenced by Hsiu-lan’s twisted view of love, money, and sex during the process.
