LOVE IS A GUN

A dark, painful, fierce neo-noir.

Since his release from prison, Sweet Potato has been content with running a small business by the seaside despite meager earnings, and he pays little heed to others’ advice against it. He gets pulled into the whirlpool of his past when his old ‘boss’ (whom he has never met), his mother (who places all her debts upon him), and his buddy Maozi all reappear in his life. One after the other, they regain control over his present life, leaving him with little hope for the future. Only Seven can slightly assuage his anxieties. One day, on the smoggy and oppressive seaside, Sweet Potato is finally granted a meeting with the ‘boss.’
