MANLI

A drifting man crosses a small Taiwanese city searching for his vanished partner, descending into a world of gangsters, violence and painful revelations.

Jin, unemployed and emotionally adrift, watches his life come apart after his fiancée, Manli, disappears. Driven by guilt and jealousy, he moves through an impersonal city in search of her, crossing marginal, ambiguous figures that echo fragments of his own confusion. As memory and reality begin to slip, the search for Manli folds inward, not a path toward redemption, but a confrontation with frustration, resentment, and a dependence he can no longer ignore.
