Mei, an ordinary 17-year-old high school senior from a Puyuma family of sorcerers, is suddenly inflicted with strange visions and physical illness, with secret rituals and tribal histories haunting her dreams. Worried about his daughter’s future, Ha, Mei’s sorcery-loving but clueless father, seeks guidance from Mei’s grandma, hoping she will be able to stop these occurrences and let Mei focus on her school work.
