MORAKOT

SKYE, a Taiwanese doctor-without-borders stationed overseas, returns home as the typhoon ravages her hometown. She assembles a Search & Rescue team comprised of British, South Korean, and local experts and journeys into the mountain to reach the home she ran from after surviving an earthquake that destroyed her village only 10 years prior. The team soon discovers the villagers have vanished without a trace, leaving behind strange markings on trees, an abandoned temple worshipping false gods, and an altar dedicated to sacrifice. Trapped and cut off from the world, members of the rescue team must confront their worst fear as isolation and their innate differences turn them on each other.
As teammates die off one by one, Skye gets closer to the truth of the village. Did the villagers survive the storm? Did they survive each other?
